Good Times with 2018 Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship Guests

If you didn't make it out the 2018 Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship, you missed a great show. Here are a few behind the scenes interactions with some of our wonderful guests who attended this event.

The event started off somewhat rocky as there were a series of very strong storms that led to the cancellation of part of the event. Although it would have been nice to have better weather, we did enjoy the impromptu show that some of our guests put on in the Hatfield Inn lobby.

Any time that people of like interests come together, there's always a great sense of connection.  It was awesome listening to guests of the 2018 Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship interact in our outdoor gazebo. Much like the jam session in our lobby, the beautiful sound of the fiddle and guitar filled the air.

We treat every guest like family here at the Hatfield Inn, but we were especially honored to have our friend, fiddler extraordinaire and Leitchfield, KY, native, Jimmy Mattingly, stay with us over the weekend. Jimmy's talent on the fiddle has been a blessing to so many people in the world. We wish him continued success in all of his music endeavors.
